Patient Forms

Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family. We will ask you to complete our patient forms which help us serve and care for you better. Then, you will be seated in a room where Dr. Gibb will shortly join you.

Consultation

In the consultation, Dr. Gibb will learn as much as he can about what is bothering you. He will ask a lot of questions about your history, how you got hurt and what you have done so far to get better. He will also listen to any concerns you feel he needs to know.

After your consultation, Dr. Gibb will perform a complete chiropractic examination which includes standard medical neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests. These tests are usually very comfortable and show the doctor where you have pain and where your body is not functioning as it should.

X-Ray Studies

Dr Gibb will not recommend x-rays unless they are necessary.  He will try to use x-rays that patients bring with them if possible.  The purpose of x-rays is to help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you and alert us of any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their x-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their  own misalignments and degeneration.

Report of Findings and First Treatment

On your second visit, Dr. Gibb will give you a detailed report of all his findings and answer any questions you have including:

  1. Can you help me?
  2. How long will it take to feel better?
  3. What do I need to do to stay better?
  4. How often do I need to come in?
  5. What will my treatment cost?

Once all your questions have been answered to your satisfaction, you will be guided to a treatment room where you will start being cared for.  Dr. Gibb will show how he is going to take care of you and what techniques he will be using. Please tell him of any concerns you may have about being treated, if you have not already.

After your first treatment, the team will schedule your appointments on the days and times that work best for you.  Please keep these appointments as doing this will help you get better quicker.

Wellness Program

When you have completed care and all your goals have been met, Dr. Gibb may suggest a way for you to keep your progress with occasional tune up treatments.

It is much easier to maintain good health than to start over again.

The wellness plan Dr. Gibb recommends will help you stay on track with your diet, stretches, changes in lifestyle, or small injuries that have happened.
